Your hosts, Eric and Julie Startup, have lived, worked and played in North Vancouver since 1991. Avid recreational skiers, golfers, bikers, kayakers and hikers, they take full advantage of the range of recreation at their doorstep - some all in one day. They are committed to the preservation of the wilderness, wildlife and bird habitats in their area. Eagles, cougars, coyotes, seals, migrating salmon and the occasional whale frequent the area and bears have been seen in their backyard. (Guests will be quite safe.) Your hosts are knowledgeable, resourceful and committed to ensuring that you have a memorable experience and leave Beachview Retreat feeling relaxed and restored.
